Led by Living Architectural & Heritage Curators, the tour provides insights into the skills and materials behind these traditions. The hotel supports sustainable practices by cultivating organic vegetables in a communal garden in Marrakesh. Using chemical-free fertilisers and natural methods, including seed harvesting and assistance from hens, the garden minimises environmental impact. This initiative reduces the hotel's carbon footprint while enhancing plant-based and vegetarian dining options, promoting a sustainable and eco-conscious cuisine.

La Sultana promotes Morocco’s culinary heritage through cooking classes that teach participants to prepare traditional dishes like tagines, bread, and pastries. These classes include a visit to the souk to source local ingredients, followed by meal preparation and dining at the hotel.

La Sultana converts CO2 emissions into monetary value at MAD 350 per tonne, directing 50% of this value into a Positive Impact fund to support environmental projects and charities. In 2023, this fund totalled 198,000 MAD (based on 1,130 tonnes of CO2). However, due to the Moroccan earthquake, expenditures increased to 352,000 MAD, surpassing the initial commitment by 154,000 MAD to address urgent needs and regenerative initiatives.
